Open account settings

Sign in, then go to Account settings. You will see tabs such as Profile, Security, and Following.

Update profile details

On the Profile tab you can update name, phone, and other personal fields shown on the form. Save when finished.

Also set Preferred language here for email notification language. For on-page language and dark mode, see Language and appearance.

Change email

  1. Open Profile in Account settings.
  2. Enter the new email address (if your account allows changes here).
  3. GigxMatch sends a verification link to the new address. Your current email stays active until you verify.
  4. Check the new inbox and complete verification.

Notes:

  • If you registered with Google, the login email may be locked. Use support if you need a different notification email.
  • A pending email change stays listed until verified or cancelled by policy.

Change password

  1. Open the Security tab.
  2. Enter your current password (not required if the account has no local password yet, for example Google-only sign-in).
  3. Enter a new password and confirm it (minimum 8 characters, with uppercase and lowercase letters).
  4. Save.

Google-linked accounts can still add a local password as a backup sign-in method.

Forgot password

If you cannot sign in:

  1. Open Sign in.
  2. Use the forgot-password / reset link.
  3. Follow the email instructions to set a new password.

Following artists and venues

The Following tab links to managing artists and venues you follow. Public browsing does not require following; following is for signed-in members.

Close / delete account

Account deletion is permanent after confirmation.

  1. Open Security in account settings.
  2. Start a deletion request if the form is available.
  3. Confirm via the email questionnaire. There is a cooling period (about 24 hours); if you do not complete the required steps, the request may be cancelled.
  4. You can cancel a pending request during the cooling period when the site allows it.

Draft listings you created may be removed as part of deletion. Read the on-screen checklist carefully before confirming.
