What shows are for

Use Shows to publish venue, date, time, description, entry info, and lineup when an event is ready for the public. Venue managers should select one of their managed platform venues so the listing and map show the correct place.

The public list supports All / Today / This weekend / This month filters and a map view.

Before you list a show

  1. Confirm the venue is set up under My Venues with a correct region and address.
  2. Prepare show name, date, start/end time, description, and cover image.
  3. Decide which artists (if any) to invite to the lineup.

Step-by-step

  1. Browse Shows to see how public listings appear.
  2. Open Create Show and choose a venue you manage (region is filled from the venue and locked).
  3. Enter show name, date, start/end time, and description (max 1,000 characters).
  4. Upload a show image (JPG/PNG/WEBP, up to 10MB; square or A4 portrait).
  5. Enter entry fee (0 if free; currency HKD/USD/CNY). Ticket link and remarks are optional.
  6. Optionally invite lineup artists. Everyone invited must accept; if anyone declines, the whole application is cancelled.
  7. After submit, the show is under review and cannot be edited. Track status and lineup replies in Dashboard Shows.
  8. After admin approval, the show appears on the public Shows list and map.

Lineup and notifications

Status rules: edit, cancel, and delete

Track listings in My shows.

Status What you can do
Reviewing View and cancel while under review. You cannot edit after submit.
Published View the public page. No edit or delete.
Cancelled Kept in My shows for records. No View / Delete action.
Completed Kept after the show date. Listed under Past shows (GigxMatch verified) so you can choose Public or Not public for the venue profile. No manual delete.
Hidden Set by admin only. Removed from Past shows dashboard and public profiles.

Submitted shows are performance records, not disposable drafts. Cancelled and completed shows are retained for a period (about 30 days after the show date) and may then be purged automatically; shows still marked Public on a profile stay protected longer.

Past shows (GigxMatch verified)

  1. Open Past shows (GigxMatch verified) from the Shows menu.
  2. Choose Public or Not public for your venue profile only.
  3. Other parties’ choices do not remove the show from your list.
  4. Admin-hidden shows do not appear here or on public profiles.

Tips

  • Always list with a venue you manage so map and region stay correct.
  • Keep title, times, and entry info clear for visitors.
  • Cancel while still under review if plans change.
  • Watch notifications until the lineup is complete so a decline does not surprise you later.
